Pricing Components

Onboarding Charges

To start using GateHouse commercially, we charge a one-time onboarding cost, to cover training, implementation, and configuration. This is only for the first year.

Annual Subscription

From Year 0, each household will pay an annual subscription charge for one household license for the app. The charge is paid through the estate association in bulk. Usually, it is taken from residents' yearly service charge

Dependant's Access

For identification, all dependants are recommended to be registered on the estate database. They can also download the app, and use their unique QR code (defined for them at registration) as a proof of ID. However, they cannot use the app to do anything else. If the head of a household (called the Primary Resident) wants another person in the house to also have the app to use for visitors booking, requesting for service etc, then he/she is required to request for full access to the app for the dependant, and this comes as a yearly fee that will be paid by that household. This access to can be added and revoked at any time only by the Primary Resident.

Implementation steps (DIY)

Register Your Estate

1. Register your estate online here. Note, an estate needs an administrator. It can be the estate exec or an appointed facility manager. Use this person's detail to register as the admin. If you don't have it handy, just your own. We will help you change it later.

2. Once you register, you will get a login credential to the GateHouse Admin Webapp (staff.gate-house.com)

3. Login to your estate portal to start configuring your community.

Configuring Your Estate

1. Create building categories. Most modern estates have house types, and houses are about in a uniform style. If this is your estate, you will need to create the building types before you create your buildings. If your estate has no uniform building type, you can simply create building type for Residential, commercial, common facilities, religious places etc. You are at liberty to determine how to categorise the buildings.

2. Create Buildings: At Estate is a collection of building units; they add all the buildings to your estate. If the plot is empty, you can assign it to a category called empty Plot, or under construction. but even empty plots do receive visitors... at least those who are hoping to buy or build on it.

3. Add residents to buildings: For building units that are already occupied. Add resident information to the building. As GateHouse is a security app, it is important that the estate manages this part of the implementation very cautiously. Only the estate exec or facility managers can do this as they can ensure that only residents and staff on his/her chosen device can access the core. The residents are being added not to give anyone access to visit the person directly. They are asked to be registered so that on his/her chosen device can access the core. The residents can change and update the information on the profile but not the access of the GateHouse App except if controlled.

4. Add Dependents: The only person the estate registrar is the primary household head, called the Primary Resident. In turn, he will register everyone else in his household (yes, including his dogs if he wants, as his dependants). That way, they have a Unique QR code that can be scanned to identify them and ascertain that they leave in the estate if he wants, but may choose not to register them, but registering your dependents is free so might as well. In the future, a dependent may want to upgrade their own status. They will let the services what is their building address and the Primary Resident that they need to be upgraded to a first class individual Resident so they can also be access all the request from others who are dependent or the others family members.

5. Create staff: Staff includes everyone that has been employed to work for the estate in whatever capacity. They typically include the security team, the gardener, plumber, and cleaners are employed directly for the estate. They also include estate/facilities office employees. Staff can also use the GateHouse Admin mobile app except if they have no Admin clearance. The private hire workers, however can download the app and Login to see assigned to them.

6. Create Your Panic Groups: Panic Groups are an essentially feature that must be set up by the estate. When a resident pushes the panic alarm on his app, the alarm and notification go to specific people pre-defined by the estate. You want to set this up early. It can be changed as you require to but it is good practice to set this up.

7. Create Services: GateHouse has a robust service management module. An estate can automate the provision of any of its services using GateHouse. No longer do you need to call someone to fix your plumbing: first you will log unto the App, Get a quote it that is acknowledged and tracked till service is delivered. It even allows you to have access to cool features like chatting with the officer sorting out the service, get your invoices delivered online, where you can also make payments. Best of all, you can track the progress, and not have someone tell you they did not see the request. Each estate can define any kind of service.

In addition, the estate can allow 3rd party service providers advertise and provide their services via the GateHouse App. This provides an additional level of incentive for them.

P.S: Empty buildings are managed temporarily by the estate until it has an owner

Set Rules & Start Using The Gatehouse

1. House Rules: Since GateHouse is a community app, it is advised that the estate sets and agrees to the rules of using the app. For example, because everyone (even your vehicles and pets)can have unique QR codes, it means that each estate can set the own rules about who they want to be registered. As a result procedure: an estate may choose to scan both staff, visitors, primary residents and dependents, while another estate may choose to only scan visitors. The app is flexible and will do what you have agreed.

2. Onboarding Security Team: Based on the house rules, the security team is trained to use the app. As it is very simple, the actual training should be about 30mins and they are ready to roll.

3. Onboarding Facility staff: The estate backstop team are also trained to manage the estate using the app. This will make their operations more efficient. Depending on the category, this should take only 2-5 hours.

4. Residents Awareness: The resident app is intuitive and can be used without any training by most people. If anyone needs help, your back office can put them through. They can also access the help feature of the app or contact GateHouse Helpdesk via WhatsApp.

5. Set a date: After all these preparation, it is important to set a date when the current way of managing access control becomes a thing of the past.
